Petro had said something about possibly not carrying it live, because they were holding it at the new facility, and that poses a technical problem for the media because it's not complete - something about wires/cables, etc.
He said if they didn't carry it live, they'd turn around the sound from the PC immediately after it was completed.

But I can't imagine firing an employee, and then allowing him the forum to blast the media, the same people that are very influential in marketing and selling your product.
Carl will get his ceremony when he takes his place next to Jack in the ring of honor.

Herm's final presser suggested this. "My record speaks for itself." Sure does dipshit. Bye.
One would have to think that this is the case. My question, then, is how is Herm passing the time, since he claims to report to 1 Arrowhead each day? Sleeping under his desk? Also Costanza style?

They're not stupid - they see the writing on the wall and I'm sure they've been working the back channels to try to get jobs (I'm convinced Herm already has his in Chicago).
But the only reason for them to still be in the building is that Clark means what he says in that he will work with the new GM to make that decision. We know what that decision is likely to be, but that's still the case. Secret firings make no sense.
