This show is AWESOME. It's on A & E. I guess it's been around since 2005. I've been recording them on my DVR for a few weeks now. Basically they just follow homicide detectives while they are trying to solve a case. I love it, stuff like CSI and stuff makes their job seem more glamorous but this shows the real deal. There are even some shows with the KCK PD and KCMO PD. There was an episode about the guy off of prospect that killed about 7 hookers.

I've seen it, its alright, but I really feel sick watching it sometimes.

Death sucks.

The wife and I used to watch it religiously, then burnt out on it pretty quick.

I am surprised how many of the killers/defendants talk to the police. Whether I was innocent or guilty, I wouldn't tell them shit. I'd ask for my attorney. My uncle almost went to prison because his car was stolen, and the guy caused an accident hit and severely injured somebody and left the scene. He had receipts of where he was at lunch, several alibis, and he still got arrested for it because some old lady picked him out of a photo lineup. He eventually got off, but not after burning thousands of dollars in the legal process.

Awesome show, def. the best LE show out there.

One of the regular detectives from Dallas looks a lot like an uncle of mine...always makes me laugh.

Yeah, I'm kind of torn on the show. It's kind of like porn. I watch it, but I don't think some of it's right. I know if I was dead, I sure as hell wouldn't want it to be broadcasted to the world or showing part of my body even if my face was blurred out. All in all thought, it doesn't seem to hinder the investigation and if anything should help the case by making the detectives more of an incentive to catch the perpetrator. Also, probably don't have to worry about any planting of evidence with AE camera people hanging out.

You learn that rule 1 is never talk to the police. Always shut your mouth. Kinda have to do that around here, or people will go street justice on you and thats never fun because they will fuck with your family.

Anyways, i seen a few episodes of that, but i dont watch it that often. Been enough deaths in my family. I am cool on that.

Great show. Been watching it for 3 seasons.

It shows how some criminals are often times uneducated and (forgive me) lack intelligence. Some of the detectives just pressure them a little and they fold. A lot of the time, they play perps against each other and let them hang themselves.

Yeah, makes me think I went into the wrong field. Would be fun searching for the scum of the world, and then seeing them go down in flames.
