Was the Saturn game Virtual Cop?

The lion king game came with my sega. I beat maybe 3 levels before I quit. Crap was hard, especially the giraffe tossing simba on the hippo.

Yes, virtua cop was the game. It was fun

That was the first thing that popped in my head when I read the thread title. The only other one I can say with any confidence is that Super Mario Kart was my first Super NES game. Starcraft was probably my first PC game.

Have you played the remake? Return to Dark Castle?
Free demo on the official site.

I see a lot of Altered Beast listings.
I could have listed the first arcade game I ever played: Double Dragon or Ms Pacman

Aside from appropriating my sis' boyfriend's SNES for a month or two and beating Supermario, I've never had a dedicated gaming system in my possession. So the only things I've played is what's at the Best Buy for a second or two when the fancy struck, or I was bored with everyone else's shopping.

On Commodore 64, it was probably something I typed up out of those programming mags back in the day, I recall a nift Machine Code pool game.
On the PC, first thing that comes to mind is Zork, though I think the one I played was on CD, so surely I played something pre-CD.

I can however, play Pole Position on the PC without ever getting off the gas. I OWN that 30 year old piece of technology.

The ones in Basic were at least semi-educational, learning about sprites and how to assign them characteristics. The Machine Code ones were better games, but didn't teach a darn thing as they were just a string of digits with a checksum, that went into a compiler [MLS, IIRC].

NES - Super Mario or Duck Hunt. Can't remember which I played first, but it was at a friend's house the year before the N64 came out.
SNES - Street Fighter, at a friend's house
Sega Genesis - Played this ALL THE TIME at my neighbor's house, particularly Sonic 2 and NBA Jam Extreme. I'd imagine one of those two would be the first.
N64 - Starfox 64
Dreamcast - Whatever the first Sonic game for Dreamcast one. Played it like once at a friend's house. Wasn't very impressed.
PS2 - The first Sly Cooper game, I think.
XBox - Probably Madden at a friend's house.
Wii - Wii Sports, like everybody else.
XBox 360 - Oddly, I can't remember, even though it's the most recent platform I've played for the first time. Might have been as recent as GTA IV, actually.

Never played a PS3. Sorry, Tiny.

I did play that one and was definitely a favorite of mine. I've played so many games that I barely remember anything on the game. I know how it goes, but I don't remember all the thing you go through to beat the game. I think I still have my PS2 so I could find the game and play it again. That would be a good game for ultimate time suck experience. Right now its Fallout 3.
