View Full Version : Chiefs You've been Norv'ed

As brought up on NFLN losing to Norv is bad for the career.
It seems only Belichick and Gruden will survive losing to Norv this year.
The chiefs needed to get Norv'ed twice to get rid of carl and herm. Like needing twice as much horrible medicine.
mangini kiffin shanahan, dungy retired ,,maybe cable guy
Glad we took our medicine and are moving on.

Norv did a decent job considering no LT and no merriman lots of the time

I still feel sd is less a threat with norv than marty.

Guess I'm just not a big norv fan. But it is kind of strange all the firings that followed his wins.

I am not a big norv fan either I do consider him more of a threat to win superbowl over marty though just because he can get an offense cooking

They went 8-8 and beat a mediocre Colts team. It really isn't much of an accomplishment.

The Chargers "beat themselves" a bunch of times this year, does this mean NORV will be fired?!?!?!?!?!

you beat a hall of fame quarterback, one that the league bends over backwards letting the team get away with illegal motions and other crap. I say it is

You are correct that they would do better in the playoffs with norv but marty would give them more reg season wins and we want the division. I don't care how they do in the playoffs I don't hate them as much as oakland and denver.

Most of SD Fans are pretty laid back and really don't care how the season ends.

Me on the other hand....

I just feel like we are never going to win anything.

EVEN KC has won Multiple Championships.

Granted, its been almost 25 years since KC has won anything, but you'd think that a city as large as SD would have won something by now???

You could argue losing merriman was as bad as chiefs losing allen yet the defense didn't fall apart ...Thanks Ron...

And being the paradise of nfl cities isn't enough?
Cleveland and buffalo may have a bone to pick with you on the misery index
I lived in miami during some awful chiefs years but somehow the nights on the beach got me through it.

The Indians have won a WS, that was 60 years ago, but still...

Buffalo is really the only other major sports city w/out a championship (for cities that have 2+ of the major 4).

Cleveland. Cleveland owns the sports fan misery index. They're in the 3 major sports and have sucked forever at all 3.

Cavs might end the run of futility though.
