Does anybody know of any good Screen Cap Freeware?

My friend has a program called Camstasia or something like that that is pretty sweet.

I want to make animated gifs too, and im not sure that that Camstasia does that.

Thanks

Camtasia offers a free, full-featured, 30 day trial.

Try it, and if you like it, let me know. I might be able to help you out.

Actually the ability to make animated gifs isn't that important.

High Quality video / High Quality stills are probably more important to me

This is the best one I've used. The link is to the last version that was freeware. You have to pay for version 5.4+

Windows Media Encoder is a free download from Microsoft and does the screen video stuff that you find with Camtasia. We use it here at work for tutorials, etc.
