Wait until the Super Bowl is over with...the media will need something to talk about then.

After the Super bowl is over; they'll have tons of warm fuzzy stories of either Kurt Warner; or Ben Rothlisberger "Is He HOF worthy?" etc.

The the lame a** pro-bowl and it's coverage.

The Draft will be a long ways out...

Wonder if Madden will sneak a Favre reference in there sometime Sunday.

what if scenario:

Herm plays Bill Cowher this year and is on a TV network.

When it's time for them to make their weekly picks

Herm, who do you like this week? The Chargers or the Chiefs

Herm: Well the Chiefs are just terrible, I don't see them winning this game.

That'd be a good bet/drinking game at a party....

It is also unusual for all of us.... we have this empty space inside us that once was filled with dread and spite for the upcoming draft being handled by Herm and Carl. I dare say we almost have optimism again, but Im still too much of a pessimist to think that way yet.

we all know that Mike Vick will be the talk of the NFL offseason. If any team shows interest in him it will will be like Farve 08 X10
