The food.

Do you eat it?

Regularly?

Know other people who do?

I know it's dangerous, but scientific curiosity compelled me. :D

Wow, I think it's normally appetizing... not when it's jammed into a computer though.

I used to eat it as a kid. Never had it since I started buying my own groceries.

I don't eat SPAMŽ all that "often", but I voted that way because I eat it something more than "rarely". I'd say I eat it an average of once or twice a month. I only like it fried, either as a breakfast meat or in a sandwich.

I love SPAMŽ, I've even been to the SPAMŽ Museum in Austin, MN.

The Hormel Corporation requests that when referring to SPAMŽ Brand Luncheon Meat you use all caps.

At Hormel headquarters in Austin, Minnesota, they have a SPAMŽ Museum (http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2126) that is worth a visit if you're ever in the vicinity.

I wish I'd been aware of SPAMARAMA™ (http://www.spamarama.com/) when I used to live in Austin, TX. I think it would have been a neat thing to check out.

Does this thread have anything without SPAM in it?

Ooops. Sorry about the noncaps. Beat me to the SPAMŽ Museum reference.

Was in Hawaii for the first time this past year, and they served that stuff for breakfast at McDonalds. Apparently, Hawaiians love that sh*t.

Same here. Put that on some good bread and you've got yourself a nice messy lunch.

I used to like SPAM as a kid. My folks would slice it, fry it and then serve it on a bun (SPAMburgers). I tried it again recently after not having it for years and couldn't eat it. It was waaaaay too salty.

I haven't tried the Low Sodium version of it. I doubt the 30% reduction in salt would be enough.

The Hormel Corporation requests that when referring to SPAMŽ Brand Luncheon Meat you use all caps. And Andrew Lloyd Webber requests you use all caps when referring to his musical. It's CATS, not Cats.

Doesn't mean I'm gonna do that, though.

SPAM is great when fried in a cast iron skillet...but I haven't had it in a while..probably more than a year or two. I'd eat a sandwich without hesitation however.

When the ManChild was just a BoyChild I would dice up SPAM into little cubes (like ham on salad bars) and toss them in a skillet for a hot minute, just too barely warm. ((Sometimes it would be the only thing he would eat when he got sick.))
Me? I haven’t eaten it in several years.

I don't eat a food if I can't get past it's name. Besides...this one time...at church camp....

these boys had a spam eating contest and one puked. that sealed the deal.

Got on a spam kick about a year ago. Then we stopped eating it. I actually picked up a can last weekend. I like it chopped in little squares and fried. Spam is the food of the gods IMO

No answer really fit for me. It has probably been at least 35 years since I had any.
It was kind of fairly regular part of the diet in the Navy.

I guess we may have bought it once, in private life, but that was a hell of a long time ago.
