Nasty Weather here in Central Kentucky....

We have had nothing but snow, sleet, freezing rain. icy conditions and now high winds here in Central Kentucky over the last 3 days....power outages everywhere and the Governor has declared a state of emergency.

(knock on wood)The mmaddog family has been pretty lucky thus far in that we have had power all night and the limbs that have broken off from out bigger trees have missed the house. Now I have to hope that the other leaning trees don't fall over and take out my neighbors new fence.

When did you move to Kentucky? We got lucky with this storm. Mostly just sleet and then some snow last night. I guess Northern Arkansas is devastated.

North Central Kentucky here (Louisville)... We just got hammered yesterday and last night. Numerous trees, branches, power lines down. We are the only house on our street that still has power. (Lucky)
