She sucks.

I got all of them right including Paraguay and Norway, which she missed. AND I didn't have any retarded outbursts of clapping or jumping.

Her parents may as well shoot her.

She's adorable. Just adorable. BTW I know a school teacher who taught his 2 year old how to read...and she could do it too.
They're capable of more than we think at those ages. You gotta figure they're learning tons of words just through mimicry at those ages.

On a more serious note, this is actually pretty cool. That's probably a credit to the parents right there, more than anything.

My dad actually went through a similar thing with me when I was 3. He had an old Webster's dictionary with pictures of the presidents in the back (this was in 1983, and Carter was listed as the last president). Close to every night before I went to bed, I'd get out this dictionary and we'd go over the names of the presidents by their portrait. I knew the order of 40 presidents (he had me memorize Reagan without the portrait) and could point them all out by their pictures by the time I was 4. However, I stopped requesting the dictionary after awhile, and it got so my memory was fuzzy on the names and the order in grade school, but I re-learned everything in class in elementary school.

That was because I probably viewed it as a game, or a chance to spend time with my dad who usually didn't get home until 6:00 or 7:00 at night. This particular girl is very bright, sure, but I'm sure this country game is a fun game to her as well. But still, that's awesome on the part of the parents for putting her in an environment where learning these kinds of items is a fun thing to do.

If/when the wife and I have kids, I'll be taking notes from my dad on what he did.

The best part I think is when she says "Meh-hi-co" without the accent, that's great.

What's the big deal? The names of the countries are written right on the map. ;)

She's too young to have someone show her where the asshole of the world is.
