Here in Western Kentucky, were the winter storm has left thousands without Electricity,Water,Communications and impassible roads. The Governor stated this morning when he asked for Disaster Area and relief declaration, the White House and Obama took only 20 mins to sign and approve. Far cry from the week wait "W" and his team took to get relief started with Katrina. And I thought what a leader as this state did nothing to help his election, as this state went Repub, by a landslide. So far my vote seems to have got to the right guy.:bravo:

The fact your state has at least semi-competent leadership also makes a vast difference.

I've got a bud who's been railing for years that underground would save an immense amount of $ over time. now's the time to take a look at that imo.

It's too bad Bush isn't still in office, so you could blame it all on him.

The death toll so far is 40.
Geez, you'd think B.O. and Olive Oyl would have sent a few dozen wagyu steaks down to Kentucky.

Had they known the cavalry wasn’t coming they would have evacuated those poor people.

While all those people were suffering I'll bet Obama watched the SB.

that is seriously my wife's Sienna. On Saturday afternoon, we parked it at the hotel and less than 5 minutes later all the ice came off the roof 3 stories high and landed on her car... :(

Huh, he signed for public, not private relief. Big difference.... he could have scored a big vote to the people, he didn't. He has to make sure Wall Street gets more money.
