You must not say things this stupid very often then.

depends who reads my opinion. I try and keep a level head about things. I think Sproles would bring a return threat to the team. Its something that needs looked at to help win. He's only worth so much to the team to I wouldn't think he'd get a huge contract if he was signed to another team for that role.

No doubt that Sproles would help the return game, but I doubt he's looking to go somewhere to simply return kicks.

JFC.

Special Teams (and great special teams) are made up of first and second team players that are ascending. Considering that the Chiefs are essentially an expansion franchise, it's going to take a few more years to fill the STARTING POSITIONS, let alone the backups and depth.

Sproles would be an absolute waste of money. He was completely and utterly shut down in the Pittsburgh game and he's an accessory at best.

If Sproles just wants a small contract and to return kicks hes not leaving SD. If he leaves its to be paid like a premiere back.

yeah you're probably right. I still would like to think Charles/Sproles waiting for the kick offs. If the opposing team won't kick to them that only means better field position than what the Chiefs had in 2008.

Sproles is going to do 1 of 2 things.

1. Sign a FA contract w/ a club, demanding a decent amount of money, and he will get a significant amount of touches on the offensive side of the ball.

2. He'll resign w/ the Chargers and get the same money he would get elsewhere.

There is no sign w/ any team to be a special teams specialist option.

Sproles would be an absolute waste of cap space! We have Charles who is way better than Sproles who is a midget. he's had one decent game in his career. This has to be the dumbest suggestion in the history of the intraweb. You should go jump from the highest bridge available.

sure. I would take him. Trade LJ tomorrow, and sign Sproles ASAP. Theres nothing wrong with Darren Sproles. Him and Charles would be a good split-back group, especially if our offense keeps the spread.

Sproles would be an absolute waste of money. He was completely and utterly shut down in the Pittsburgh game and he's an accessory at best.

Who wasn't shut down by Pittsburgh?

13.9 pts/game
237.2 total yards/game
156.9 passing yards/game
80.2 rushing yards/game

I wouldn't base his ability on one poor performance against the Stoolers, nor would I base it on one good performance against the Colts....

There really isn't a large enough sample size to know exactly what he is capable of doing. FWIW, I think he could be a good fit in KC depending on what type of offense we install...unfortunately, we don't know what that will be as of yet. I will say this, however, he does seem to be the type of "character" guy that Pioli covets; that doesn't mean he is the type of player Pioli/whtever new HC will want to install in the new scheme.
