Just a minor annoyance of mine: Why does Pioli get all of the credit for this new "shroud of silence" everyone is talking about? Keeping things close to the vest is obviously Clark's way of going about things, too, as evidenced by the way Peterson's eventual resignation was kept a secret for the majority of last season, and how little info was available during the Chiefs' GM search.

This isn't a knock on Pioli. I'm glad he and Clark are seemingly Vulcan mind-melded together and are focused on building their team, rather than giving the media a dog and pony show. But he's a Chief now, so let's talk about the Kansas City Way.

Have the Chiefs come up with a slogan for the Pioli era yet? Like the Royals' "New. Blue. Tradition." slogan they came up with for the Dayton Moore era?

I think we can start taking the "Chiefs Way" seriously once we have added another Lombardi to the fold...

Well, until he actually DOES something for the Chiefs, what do you expect?

Once he starts making some significant decisions (HC, Draft, etc) it will wear off, IMO.

He fired Herm Edwards. That alone earned him a statue in the eyes of 3/4 of these forum's posters.

If Pioli didn't want to change things
even if only slightly
he shouldn't have left Boston/where ever
