Has anybody seen this weapon. Although I'll never put down my Kimber .45 I do think I need to own this.

I think taurus makes a pretty crappy gun. I dont own one, but have been told by those I know and trust that are in the gun business that the quality control at the taurus factory (Brazil) is terrible.

Yeah. I'm with you there . I don't own a Tauras of any sort, but this is a very unique gun. Shoots a 410 shotgun shell or a .45 Long colt. The barrell is rifled which makes it legal. Plus being a revolver I would think even Tauras could make a decent one.

What has better knock back power the 410 slug or a .45 Long colt? I'm enticed by the idea of such a large heavy soft slug in a hand gun.

Did you watch the video ? This would be a great snake gun or a gun to have while out fishing. With the barrel being rifled it causes the shot to expand more quickly. If you were a cashier at a convenient store and getting robbed ,in the haste of things this would be perfect. And in the video it appears that from 15 feet away it would blow a whole in someons chest the size of a baseball AND put their eye out at the same time.

And you could alternate rounds in the cylinder with 410 and .45 long colt

I have fired one.... it is nice.

I have a Taurus PT92AF (it's a M9 clone). I prefer it to the Beretta as the action is smoother and it is accurate out of the box; unlike the M9 which needs quite a bit of adjusting.

Taurus makes a good, inexpensive weapon. It's no Glock, Sig, or Kimber, that's for sure, but if you're looking for an inexpensive plinker, they're great. I've fired plenty of them, from 9 & .40 autos, to .357 & 410 revolvers. Every one has been solid.

What did it cost you ? Edit : Refering to the Judge, I take it you don't own it ?

I have a Tauras 24/7 Pro....The company has changed the past few years actually the model I have won 2005 NRA Handgun of the Year. If you go read about Taurus reviews by experts, most have nothing but good to say. Mine is easy to clean, feels good, and hasn't misfired yet.

The Judge here in Texas can't stay in stores. As soon as it comes in like Academy it is gone.

here is a link for on review....just google you'll hear good and bad like everything else.

Like mentioned above it isn't better than the great guns, but it is half the price and a helluva abang for your buck.

it is the vizio of guns.

I own a Taurus Millenium for C&C and I like it. I've found it to be reliable and accurate.

Taurus makes a much, much better product today.

I'd buy a judge.

Average I've seen has been $340 (varies by $10 up or down, depending on the store).

NOTE: it's a big handgun; kinda reminds me of Hellboy's revolver ;) Not a great choice for C&C, but unbeatable as a tacklebox weapon for snakes and varmints.

havent owned a handgun in years, dont see the point. if im coming to do damage i figure why a handgun when you can use a shotgun.

500 mariner is my brand. its cutdown enough that you can swing it around in a rig and i dont give a shit you AD dump in a firefight your chances of gettin a kill 1st shot with a shotgun goes way up vs. a handgun.
i say this with conviction and consider myself proficient in all types of firearms.

My snub .38 is a Taurus. Amazingly accurate for its size.

And it's hell on refrigerators.

I don't own any handguns, but have a friend that owns several Taurus. They make very nice looking guns, don't know a lot about the quality.

I don't own any Taurus guns but I shot a couple different ones and all have handled well. Don't let others, who never handled or shot one, tell you different. Taurus makes good guns. I personally want their 1911. I would pick up the judge if I owned a couple other guns I want.

Speaking of punishing appliances, I set a junk microwave on fire with that round. ;)

I have been intigued by the Judge. I was thinking it would be a good home defense weapon. I was wondering how well my wife would handle the recoil. She wouldn't have to be terribly accurate. With a 410 round it would truly be a point and shoot deal. She's pretty good with my Berretta 9 at the range but she's wide awake with good lighting and the stress factor is very low.

I have had a Taurus 24/7 Compact Pro .40 for 6 months and have shot 300 rounds through it and have had no problems. The fit and finish is good and for the money it was the best thing out there. So I'm sure that there may be some bad ones but mine has been great.
