He did want total control of football operations. I can say for a fact that THE DEAL IS DONE.

There are a number of possibilities, and these are guesses on my part:

1) He's giving Haley a couple of days off before bringing him in to announce the hiring
2) He's trying to finalize the language in a contract with Cowher
3) He's waiting for signing day Wednesday before bringing in Kirk Ferentz
4) He's still interviewing

Amnorix warned us that this FO would be tighter with info than the KGB in the middle of the cold war.

I am going along with it.

Further, if the "Patriot Way" works then we have to take the good with the bad.

I will continue to wait patiently.

I guess I have faith that Pioli knows what he is doing.

I just have a feeling that Haley may not be the man. I think something else is going on and it may be a few more days before we know anything. I know absolutely nothing; it's just a feeling I've had lately. I think the field is still open.

Just watch - as soon as I post this the Chiefs will probably announce their new coach.:cuss:

I hope that over time, the "Patriot Way" will transition into the "Chiefs Way".

I'm getting really beat down by this term. :cuss:

Really? I wanna see who he brings in too, but once Pioli got hired, my rush to see Herm get fired, bc I knew he would, and who the next guy would be calmed down quite a bit. Yeah, I wanna know but I'm not gonna freak out like some petchulant child. Do ya really think he took the job and has been sitting on this without having something planned out?

My sources tell me that the process slowed down when the leading candidate, Greg Robinson, accepted another position with Michigan.

Mass suicide?

Anyone remember that guy in the tank in San Diego a few years ago?

That would be me in KC.
