KANSAS CITY, MO — The Arizona Cardinals have granted permission to the Kansas City Chiefs, who wish to interview Arizona offensive coordinator Todd Haley.
“We think Todd could really come in and just scream at our players,” said Chiefs GM Scott Pioli. “I mean, just freaking go bananas on them. After all, look at how good he was at screaming at the players on Arizona, guys like Anquan Boldin, and Kurt Warner, who seem like they’re pleasant people, for the most part. These are not assholes like Larry Johnson. Just imagine what Todd will be able to do with LJ.”
Haley confirmed that he will indeed be interviewing with the Chiefs this week, where he will outline a number of different ideas for a potential role with the team, including a strong focus on yelling at Larry Johnson for his overall lack of effort and general misgivings as a human being.
“Let’s face it, I’m a natural for this situation,” Haley said. “There will be some excitement on the sidelines of Arrowhead next year!”
