We havent played a game yet, let alone had our first draft........lets not jump to conclusions. we may take a fullback with the 3rd rd pick.........what would you think of that?????? Not really, the point is we know nothing at this point.

I'd attribute that more to Pioli trying to give a "generic" answer rather than delving too deep into his mentality in what he was trying to look for in a head coach...

I wouldn't say that's a foregone conclusion. Gailey has proven he's flexible and able to coach more than one system. I for one hope they keep Gailey around. I would say if anything the comment that makes me think it less likely was Haley's comment regarding wanting coaches who "are able to get on the players". Obviously I don't know firsthand but Gailey doesn't impress me as that type.

i didn't say that i knew whether or not Pioli would be successful.

that is yet to be determined

but hiring Pioli changed the entire perception of the Chiefs here in KC and all across the NFL. This will also carry across to free agency signings too imo.
