After 13 years with the Eagles, safety Brian Dawkins will have a new home.

David White of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Dawkins has agreed to terms with the Broncos.

Dawkins, 35, had said during the season that he thought he'd work out a deal to end his career in Philly. It could still happen, but only after a stint with the Broncos.

He'll bring an attitude and leadership we need at the position. Lynch also served ths role as well. Atwater was home grown franchise Saftey we had here his entire career except the last season of his career

Good leadership move for a bad defense. Sounds familiar...

If we get two solid years out of him I'll consider it a successful move.

Weak.

Over the hill. Stopgap. Doesn't have it anymore. Probably got overpaid.

Not surprising though, given that our new regime are a bunch of idiots.

Say what you will, I think this move seriously helps out the Broncos Defense. I don't think the Chargers will be putting up the normal 40+ on the Donx next year.

now the sound guy has to find a intro song long enough for Dawkin's to perform his traditional seizure for his entrance in each home game.

What about two years of him missing tackles and getting beat??

The key is an Nt. We get a good one and our front 7 won't be garbage. The only place to go is up.

I am so unbelievably pissed.

For 13 years Ive been putting off buying a Dawkins jersey. He is one of my favorite players and I'm also a big eagles fan. (i live right outside of Philly)

I ordered my jersey finally this last season. It was back ordered. It got here after the loss to the cardinals......now he is on the broncos.

I got fucked!!!

David White, of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Denver have signed Dawkins' to a contract according to single source.

NFL Network reports that Denver have agreed to sign Dawkins' to a two-year contract and have scheduled a press conference on Saturday.

Bill Williamson of ESPN covered the Broncos as beat reporter for 4 seasons for the Denver Post reports Denver have not signed Dawkins' to a contract, which can happen night.

Please, Denver pony up -- The Broncos have signed half the league this morning. Why not one more.

Finally, Dawk a.k.a. Weapon X, will finally be out of the NFC East for good.

He had a great career -- Wreaking havoc on NFL players since 1996

Helluva player, but nowhere what he was three years ago. He did have a good run in the playoffs, though.

WTF is it with Denver and old safeties? I look forward to him trying to chase down Jamaal Charles.
