Houshmanzadeh would be a stellar pick up now, this would give us Housh, Tony, DBowe and Bradley, I like this core of WR's we have and we can pick up a speed guy in the draft. I don't know if we'll trade anymore unless it involves LJ or Tony, but I say first we need Housh.

D. Ward. Cassel will need some help. Then, Draft either Curry or Crabtree. Either combination sounds f'n fantastic

If we pick up Housch, there's absolutely no reason under the sun to let go of #88, period.

I would vomit if they did so. Can you imagine how f***ing happy TGon is right now??? Waters best to shut his trap or he's gonna talk his way off a winner.

Be very very VERY happy about Cassel (especially for only the deuce), this has HUGE ripple effects in the FA market, buckle up!

Igor Olshansky would be huge for us, and I have to imagine Pioli is looking hard at him.

He is one of the top 3-4 DEs in the league and would fit in perfectly.

I hope not. Bowe, Hoosh, and Gonzalez would be deadly.I have a feeling TE is going to be cycled down under Haley, and we're going to be seeing a lot more multiple-receiver (as in WR) sets.

Although they have used TEs in NE, I just don't know that we're going to see a TE being one of our top 3 or 4 receivers here again any time soon.

We'll see how it plays out. Obviously if they don't trade him, he'll be a big part of things.

Housch and Bowe are the same type of player. No way will be go after TJ.

Nate Washington would be a much better fit. He is a deep threat and very underated. We also still need another LB or two very badly. DJ, Vrabel and crap will not be an effective 3-4, even if we do add Curry.

Lav. Coles would be a good fit also, but I think he will reunite with Penny in Miami.

Why would Tony be happy?

He was telling us how Thigpen earned the right to be the starter.

We'll see. They leaned on Pope alot during the playoff run, especially in the running game.

I'm sure they will use a TE, I'd just imagine he'll be lower down on the reads than gonzo has been. People are used to seeing an offense where the TE is the first read, and I think those days are over now, whether they trade him or not.

Haley didn't get to where he is being stupid. Vermeil didn't intend to feature Tony Gonzales either, but the guy set records in Jesus Saunders' offense because he's THAT good.

Cassel is going to LOVE him.

Cassel is going to LOVE him.I wouldn't argue that he isn't good, hell, he's a hall of famer, but I think the main reason he's been the number one read here for so long is because Kansas City has never been able to field an actual number one receiver. A bunch of free agents and a couple of first rounders say it's not for lack of trying...

I think that's one of the things that's going to change. Although it may not be this year. Haley is a receiver guy and I think it's going to be a priority.

This may be the year that this becomes Dwayne Bowe's offense, in fact.

Third year often means big things...

And don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying 'trade Gonzalez'. I'm saying that's what I think they may be looking to do. It makes sense in a lot of ways - particularly if you consider it purely from a business angle and drop the fan side of the equation - to trade a player like Gonzalez now, before he shows any signs of decline.

I doubt KC will go after Rogers- he's not the kind of character that Pioli looks for. 3-4 NTs are so hard to find, though, that there might not be a whole lot of a choice. If I had to guess, I'd say that the Chiefs are going to go into 2009 with BJ Raji/Housh or Shaun Rogers/Crabtree. Either way, WR and NT is addressed.
