I'll bet against them. That away if they win, I'm happy cause they won.

And if they lost, well, at least I got 5 bucks out of it.

I'd probably bet against them. OU would be the #1 team in the country right now and favored had they not lost Blake Griffin.

Of course they are... they're at home, and after all, they split the season series against the Jayhawks.

A Kansas win clinches a share of the Big 12 title.

A Kansas win plus a Missouri win clinches the Big 12 title outright.

what it probably would also do, is help in securing a spot at the sprint center for the Jayhawks.

Fans in general WAY underrate the importance of home court/field advantage.

It will be close, but I think Mizzou pulls out a win tonight. OU hasn't looked nearly as dominant lately as they did earlier in the season.

Well now you get to find out if they are pretenders tonight. If they win or keep it pretty close then they are legitimate. If they get blown out......

Just glancing at their schedule, Mizzou has around a 20 point differential at home during conference play, and hasn't beaten anyone on the road (not including neutral) all season by more than 14 (ISU).

I tend to look past the home field/court advantage hype in pro sports, but it's pretty important in college sports, especially for young/inexperienced teams.

But Griffin and the Sooners had no excuse Wednesday. They were beaten by a better defensive and more aggressive team in Columbia."

I think there's a good chance Oklahoma is going to be an NCAA tourney disappointment. Their perimeter D is weak, and their best offensive player isn't consistently effective outside three feet.

How the hell is Jeff Capel still being mentioned for national coach of the year?

Yes, Missouri is one win at A$M away from beating every team in the conference this year, which is something that no other team can say. A fine year by HC Mike Anderson and his team.

As for Capel, I have nothing but respect for him. His comments after the game were very gracious and he gave credit where credit was due. Meanwhile, in Lubbock..... ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL

Way to twist my words around Chris.

What Pond of Red doesn't tell you is that I said Anderson has done a good job this year.......but for a coach to take a team that lose nearly every major scorer on a National Title team and win conference......again.......for the 5th straight year.......is better than what Mike Anderson has accomplished which is nothing, of course this obviously pends Sat game with TX. Yeah Anderson has moved MU up the conference standings considerably since last season but if KU wins sat against TX, its Self and the baby Jayhawks that win the Big12, not Anderson.
