Take it for what its worth.

Will Denver send Cutler to Cleveland for Rogers, Quinn? (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/Will-Denver-send-Cutler-to-Cleveland-for-Rogers-?urn=nfl,145345)

Maybe the Denver Broncos (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/den/) really do want to trade Jay Cutler (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7760/). Broncosfreaks.com is reporting a deal may already be in place that would send Cutler to the Cleveland Browns (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/cle/) for quarterback Brady Quinn (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/8276/), unhappy nose tackle Shaun Rogers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5508/) and a third-round pick.
Media reports over the past couple weeks have indicated that Cleveland coach Eric Mangini is not overly impressed with Quinn. Rogers, feeling snubbed by Mangini on two different occasions, has asked to be traded. As the reported noted, the trade makes sense.
For Denver, there is a lack of quality nose tackles available on the free agent market and in the draft. Also, reports out of Denver indicate Cutler is unwilling to meet with the front office and coaching staff.

Jeez, is Cutler really that much of a bitch? If Cutler goes to Cleavland, you can count his career as over. And if the Donks land Quinn, they'll have fun battling the raiders for last place in the division. The donks are falling apart right now. Best Offseason ever.

How rumors start...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a Broncos fan, I was getting upset with all the rumors swirling around this weekend about Jay Cutler getting traded. This got me to talking with another fan about how easy it is to start a rumor that gets picked up by national outlets.

So what he decided to do was make up a rumor and "Harkov" posted it on the front page of broncosfreaks.com.

This is what happened
http://broncosfreaks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21418

PFT.com took it from our front page and decided to run with at as an actual rumor.

Since they first posted it, Si.com, yahoo.com, peter king, colin cowherd, and the cleveland plains dealer have all reported it as a rumor and close to happening.

The funniest part of all of this is whenever someone lists the unnamed source they are talking about me.

What's Scary about that? you really think Quinn is a better QB than Cutler? He couldn't even beat out D. Anderson. And Rogers.....most likely will get injured. Its the Donkey way. All these vet FA's they've signed probably won't even make it the full season.

I would expect snopes to start handling these things before too long. Stop doing this to yourselves. Cutler isn't going anywhere except the Super Bowl.

Sounds like everyone reported it as a rumor. Reporters assume sites like that wouldn't post something like that for no reason. I especially don't blame PFT for putting it on their "rumor mill."

I hope he doesn't. As much as i hate the Donkey's; i hope he stays. I also hope JR gets his shit together in Oakland too. Rivers Vs Cutler Vs Cassel Vs Russell could be the making of great rivalries.

It shouldn't scare you. Cutler is likely a legitimate franchise QB, Quinn isn't. There is a reason the guy fell so far in the draft, he's a very inaccurate passer.

The Brownsification of the Donks would continue even after Shanahan got canned ROFL

I have a feeling all these Browns defensive linement in Denver must be Bowlen's idea.

Meh. Neither one of them is very exciting if I'm a fan of that team.

While it would be stupid if this was really going to happen, which I expect this rumor is all :BS:, I'm not too excited about our current O-line facing Rogers twice a season. Pioli hopefully is going to make some upgrades here whether through the draft or FA. Gotta keep Cassel on his feet. :thumb:

Man, you'd be getting a PRETTY good franchise prospect, a damn good nose, and a 3rd.

That'd be a damn good deal.

Too bad it's not real.
