Well it is true you don't need much of an arm to throw a swing pass to gore.

I posted this in the other thread... but it's better here...

Holy shit.

The 49ers taking our cast-offs.

It only took 15 years but now the SF to KC QB highway has reversed! HAH. Next thing you know croyle will be starting for the 49ers.

Best of luck to Huard in San Fran.

Hopefully he'll be able to do much better and produce in San Fran then what he did here. I liked Huard but he just wasnt the QB we needed.

Huard is a Fetal 9er?

Buzz

For his sake I hope they have a decent offensive line for fetal position...

Pioli missed an opportunity to pick up an additional 6th or 7th round pick.

I'm disappointed.

Good luck to Huard.

He's another in a fine line of SF QB's that includes Rattay, Dorsey, Hill, Druckenmiller and Smith.

Well it doesn't look like the 9ers will be in the market for a QB anymore. They're set for the next 8 or 10 quarters.

Please please tell me this is sarcasm? Even if it isn't just tell me it is...................... Wait hootie didn't become the GM for SF did he? If so Huard got a contract and a blow job. Good for him.

I'll say it now.

Mike Singletary = Herm Edwards II

Player coach. Loves to talk. Good "attitude" is valued in players. And now Damon Huard.

The 49ers will probably resemble the Chiefs the past few years, too.

Huard is a serviceable QB when he has protection. Once there is even a hint of that protection breaking down though, look out.

yeah huard is serviceable, his arm needs serviced, he will throw rainbows there like he did in kc. make every reciever jump for the ball and try not to get killed from the tackle

If he felt pressure to sign with a team then he probably would give up.
