Cutler using as an excuse to get traded. Has wanted out since Shannahan and Bates left.

Patrick & King both STILL think Cutler requested trade before the whole Cutler vs. Cassel thing.

Cutler just doesn't want to play in Denver.

if Culter get traded to Detroit for the no. 1 pick, do the Broncos take Stafford, Sanchez, or Curry?

if Culter get traded to Detroit for the no. 1 pick, do the Broncos take Stafford, Sanchez, or Curry?I'd guess Stafford....without a viable QBoF option now.

I'd say they go the FA/Trade route for a QB... spend the pick on K, or something.

It's not like going from Vermeil to Herm fucking Edwards. It's from one high-powered offensive coach to another. Perhaps Cutler and his agent believe that without Shanahan as GM, Denver won't be throwing money around as freely? Maybe Shanahan getting fired signaled a change in organization philosophy on spending?
