View Full Version : Chiefs Would you trade Scott Mitchell 2.0 for Cutler straight up?

It's almost too perfect IMO. McDaniels would get his butt buddy in Denver. Scott Mitchell 2.0 gets to play in the same offense he knows. Haley gets a young pro bowl strong armed QB to run his offense. KC fans get to watch Scott Mitchell 2.0 and McDaniels together implode their most hated rival. Denver fans get to watch Cutler tear it up in Haley's attack. I find it hard to believe Haley wouldn't be salivating at the possibility. It'll never happen due to all the Belichik coatdragger loyalty BS but oh well....what do you guys think?

If you are talking about Matt Cassell, sure, I would trade him even up for Cutler.

Cutler is overrated deluxe. Big arm, no scruples.

NO. I don't want to here about his diabetes every fuckin' game. That and he's a punk.

No.
I'd rather not have a pissy primadonna who's turnover prone in the most inopportune times. I'm fine with Matt Cassel.

I would not. We know we'd be getting a douche, and Denver might just get something in return.

Why is Matt Cassel Scott Mitchell 2.0 again?

Why is Matt Cassel Scott Mitchell 2.0 again?

Because some people didn't agree with the trade, so they will go out of the way to knock the guy. Damn, give the guy a chance before we compare him to jokes like Mitchell.

I would make the trade. It would be so much more fun for all.

Why is Matt Cassel Scott Mitchell 2.0 again?

Because people are too lazy to come up with an accurate comparision. It would be like the Pro-Cassel people calling him Favre 2.0.

Why is Matt Cassel Scott Mitchell 2.0 again?

BECAUSE IT HAPPENED ONE TIME 20 YEARS AGO SO ITS GUARANTEED TO HAPPEN AGAIN. IDITO

Yeah I'd love a QB named C**tler...NOT!! Cassel hasn't even had a practice snap and people are already making comparisons. Yes he could be Scott Mitchell, or he could be Rich Gannon...who knows?

All amatuer GM's need to take a chill pill. :shake:

Yes, they have switched from "we must draft a quarterback at #3" to "Cassel sucks".

Same position, just another way to complain about it.

And he doesn't win.

Not one winning season in 2.5 years.

And he doesn't win.

Not one winning season in 2.5 years.

Not to mention his entire collegiate career, Mr. RINGLEADER. Of course, you don't expect much from Vandy.

I would avoid him primarily due to character issues. He seems to be one of those guys who possesses the physical tools but lacks the leadership traits necessary to take a team on his shoulders and will them to victory. Frankly, Cutler has always struck me as the househusband type.

Plus, this whole deal with his agent is troubling. Either he has complete faith in Cook or he can be manipulated. If it's the former, it may indicate poor judgment. If the latter, it's the sign of a weak personality. I don't want no weak personality quarterback person on my team.

I think KC has all the leverage in a deal involving those two players. I think we get Cutler plus picks or we say no thanks. I mean, at this point we'd be doing them a giant favor. They get the QB they covet and we take a whiney malcontent off their hands. Why would we do that deal without major sweetening? Denver is screwed right now and the entire league knows it.

Denver would need to make a HUGE offer IMO.

Shouldn't this be Scott Mitchell 2.0 for Jeff George 2.0?
