Keep an eye on the UN and Obama...this tie in has simmered and simmered for a year or more. They did a great job in campaign of downplaying his ties and support for the UN's gloabal redistribution of wealth programs....I'd bet there is a lot more to come on this front.

What I'm concered about is how this lack of confidence will hurt the US Dollar? As for the farmers of Zimbabwe, let their own country pay their damn bills.

It's a race to the bottom regarding currencies. Countries can't debase their currencies fast enough. Now, the IMF wants to create a "super currency." What a fucking joke. It's all paper.

"My paper is worth more than your paper."
"No, it's not!"
"Says who?"
"ME!"
"'splain please."
"My interest rates are at 0%!"
"Oh, well.... uh,... well... we're at -1%!!!"
"Cool! You're going to pay me to borrow money?"
"***gulp***.... I guess so. Is that a good thing?"
"Abso-fucking-lutely! Where do I sign up?!!!"

We should ditch the UN and kick them out of New York.

In about 2 years, when the inflation from all this money the Fed has been printing hits, people in general will be happy to have new money that has value (for a couple years at least).

Besides, we don't control our money now, the Fed does. Does it really make that much difference which group we have no control over prints the money?

Meh. They want to switch the reserve currency from US dollars to shared currencies. In other words, they want to diversify the reserve.

Sounds like a logical pproposition to me.

Not if you are vested in commodities.
