Letterman is dumb as a ****ing rock, literally, and this has absolutely nothing to do with his marriage.

I like Letterman, I'm just surprised at his choice for a wife.

I just think he could have gotten someone way hotter.

Like Rachel Dratch.

He is an embarrassment when he attempts to engage in any type of discourse that's the slightest bit intellectual. Listening to him try to talk politics, for example, is physically painful for me.

This clouds my view of the rest of his schtick or him as a person.

To be quite honest, I haven't watched him regularly in 20 years. I see his show occasionally but I've usually got something better to do than watch him at 11:35pm (and it's not watching Leno. I think he sucks ass).

I'm kinda looking forward to seeing Conan at a decent hour. He was on at 12:35am and while I loved his show and humor, it wasn't worth going to bed at 1:20 just to stay up and watch him.

Two things...

Reminds me of a couple of things:

1. Club lighting. And the cruel joke owners play when switching on the full lights at closing time.

2. The image of the princess and the old hag that's supposed to represent the effects of beer goggles.

Her right eye is still jacked up. The angle doesn't show her turkey neck and the black & white hides her skin tone.

Numero Uno is more accurate.

Meh, props to Letterman. From the article I read, he's been dating the woman since 1986.

If they're happy, who are we to judge?

Totally agree.

Except as far as Conan's concerned I can't watch his show anymore because he does the EXACT same thing practically word for word, joke for self-deprecating joke every night for the intro.

At least he used to. I'm guessing he still is.

We're the same internet assholes that judge everything.

Why should Letterman be exempt?

Call me cynical, but when I see these types of matches, my first thought is, "That might be whom he's married to, but that's not whom he's fucking."

Letterman has a 4 year old son. If Lasko isn't the mother they must have broken up for a time.

I used to be a huge Letterman fan - until he decided to use his stage to shill the liberal viewpoints of the Democrat Party. He's just another mainstream media lemming that thinks everyone wants to hear his biased outlook of the world every night. He ought to go on The View, instead of having a prime time late-night show.

Nah, he chased her for years and she wouldn't give it up. His interviews with her in the late 90's were borderline creepy.
