Northern Iowa’s Pedescleaux Racking Up NFL Miles
Posted by Aaron Wilson on April 7, 2009, 8:34 p.m.

Northern Iowa defensive end Everette Pedescleaux, a transfer from the University of Minnesota, visited the Arizona Cardinals last week and has several other upcoming visits, according to a league source.

The 6′6, 305-pound defensive lineman is also scheduled to visit the New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints.

Pedescleaux was a third-team All-American selection last season, recording 62 tackles, 11 1/2 tackles for losses and 6 1/2 sacks.

He blocked six kicks at Northern Iowa, where he also played on the basketball team. The former Minnesota Mr. Basketball finalist averaged 20.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game as a high school senior.

Pedescleaux has run the 40-yard dash in 4.88 seconds. He bench pressed 225 pounds 22 times in testing for NFL teams.

Yeah, he's not real talented, but he works hard. And IIRC he's got freakishly long arms.

I don't remember. I don't follow UNI very closely until they get to the playoffs...

I think he went to Minnesota to play both originally, like a duel scholarship thing.
