I endorse this thread.

(went and checked out the parent site and it looks like if you already use travelocity, this gives all the same prices/deals but gives the kickbacks to our buddy Luv... seems like a no brainer)

If you don't mind me asking......

How much do you get paid if I book a vacation from this site? I'm looking to book my honeymoon and if I can get a cheap price on here.....I'll book it from this site.

I'm having some technical difficulty getting into my back office. As soon as I find out, I can let you know a precentage, perhaps.

Does travelocity normally have good deals? I need to buy a round trip ticket to Cali ASAP. Haven't done a whole lot of shopping around. Who generally has the best deals?

Thanks!

I used to go to sites like travelocity, orbitz, and mainly expedia to get times and fairs of different airlines. Then I would go to the site of whichever airline had the best deal, and order it directly from them. Travel sites, like travelocity (hint hint) are good if you need to bok a flight plus something, whether it be a rental car, hotel, etc.

Heh... the company I used was travelocity, as well. Same shit. Made about $5000 in about 3 months... some people who got in it from my recommendation have made a killing... some, not so much. The travel market has tanked with this economy.

I use it to book business travel at a NICE discount though.

Good luck.

BTW, what I discovered was that all of these "Affiliate" travel sites, are actually a division of WCTravel.com which is owned by Sabre. Travelocity is the retail arm of Sabre... WCTravel.com works out all of these reseller agreements with various affiliate companies.

I'm going going back back to Cali Cali!

I sent off to find out some information about getting into my back file to find out how much I make off of a booking. I'll let you know how much you made me when I'm able to get in.

It looks like you can book hotel and air at a discounted price, then rent the car.

Did you find out what percentage you get if I book?

I can't get a link to work to get me logged into my back file. I talked to the person who sponsored me (he travels a lot and uses his site), and he said it depends on which airline/hotel/rental car place you choose. I can get anywhere from 2% to 20%.

I'm anxious to see how much I got from CHENZ A.

I went and checked out a cruise I'm thinking of going on. Through your site its $1,872 https://res.cruisedirect.com/ssl/travel/cruise/options.rvlx?CabinNumber=2339&cruiseSearchID=11717862174259562336:-163726801&promotionID=641524

But through the Carnival.com and expedia sites the same exact dates/times/choices its $1,572.
http://www.carnival.com/BookEngine.aspx?Step=3

But if you can give me a deal close to the others in the future I'd be happy to throw you some business.

I have no control over pricing. It's travelocity. When I say my site, it just means that I get the kickbacks from it as opposed to the company. The prices will be whatever travelocity prices are. I'm simply asking people if they would mind using it. I didn't say they had the best prices. If you'd rather not use it, that's okay.

I just want to add to not read this post and automatically think I'm trying to rip anyone off. If you find a better deal elsewhere, I won't be offended in the least. I'm just saying that, if you were to use the site, to please help me out and use my link.

I've used travelocity, no problems. I did have an issue with Hotels.com. Basically I stayed at a Howard Johnson in florida and the print out sheet from hotels.com, clearly said checkout time was at noon, but in reality the checkout time was 8 in the focking morning. The manager at the hotel didn't care and said if I don't checkout by 8 am I will be paying for another day and the hotel.com guy didn't do anything.

I won't be giving either one of those companies any more business. I know it probably doesnt sound like a big deal, but who the hell wants to checkout at 8 am on their last day of vacation?

You click on a link in the OP, and you do the same thing you would on Expedia. Instead of the kickbacks going to the parent company of travelocity, they go to me.

It works anytime. My percentage of return depends on which airline, hotel, etc you book. It works the same way for you as any other travel site would.

Considering CHENZ A is the first person to book anything off of there, no. Why, are you interested, or are you, yet again, trying to make me out to be an idiot? If you're not interested in helping me out, that's fine. Just leave me alone about it.
