I love Barry Sanders, but I gotta go with Munoz there.

I can't believe that Woodson was the top/only Steeler. Huh?

Interesting analysis. They blew on the first pick by choosing a prima donna who never played for the team who drafted him, though.

Who wouldn't kill to have taken THE Randy Moss, Ed Reed, or Ray-Ray Lewis that late....

It doesn't seem like many greats were drafted #3 overall...

Winslow over Gonzalez? BOOOOOOOOOO

Not being a homer but look at who Winslow had throwing to him and a stud WR in Joiner to take some of the of the heat off of him. Gonzo had average QBs overall and no real WR threat his entire career. I'm tired of how these people reduce the value of a player because his team has not won a playoff game his entire career.

Gonzo is the 3 best TE of al time. That's pretty good.

I think as far as individual skill, drive and intelligence go, Gonzo handily beats Sharpe.

What's amazing is all the players not even considered.

Sort of highlights what a crapshoot drafting really is.

If the Chiefs ever have the #25 pick I hope they trade out of it.

I'd like to know why Willie Roaf isn't even considered at #8

It doesn't seem like many greats were drafted #3 overall...

Anthony Munoz, Cincinnati Bengals, 1980
"Mean" Joe Greene, Pittsburgh Steelers, 1969
Dick Butkus, Chicago Bears, 1965
Charley Taylor, Washington Redskins, 1964
Ollie Matson, Chicago Cardinals, 1952
Doak Walker, Boston Yanks, 1949
Bobby Layne, Chicago Bears, 1948

Not a bad list.

That is a point of extremely high validity. Willie Roaf ate guys like Munchak like popcorn.
