It just goes to show that all that shit is just snake charming bullshit. You obviously don't even need a religious message to inspire some people into giving money.....I need my own ministry and a TV show.

So, he's the second preacher to say "I've been bad, spank me spank me..." ?
The first, of course, being Jimmy Swaggart....

I like the fact that people are yelling "Hallelujah!" and "Thank you, Jesus!" in the background...just as they would if there was somebody actually saying real words.

Dont feel bad. My father is a methodist minister, and would probably laugh at this video. This has GOT to be a Southern Baptist Church.:shake:

He made some decent points, but that racist diatribe was flat out offensive.

He did go a little over the top with that, but I'll attribute that to the way he was raised.

What does it say about religion when a 2 year old can enthrall an audience and 10 year olds are ordained as ministers?

I think the congregation was just going along with the little fella.
I don't think this was intended to be taken seriously.

Of course. It just makes an unusual point about kids copying what they see, or take away.

Sure, but kids are always impressionable.
You just hope that what they pick up isn't degenerative or something that'll embarrass you to tears in public.

In this case, I think it's pretty harmless.

I think it says that even religious people have a sense of humor.

Which is pretty much what I told you the first time this was posted, and you asked the same question then.

What does it say when people think little kids are cute? It means our species will go on.

I have no idea what church that was at, so this isn't a potshot at any particular denomination.

I think the chord it strikes in many of us is similar to the one plucked when we see the really young kids involved in the Westboro church that pickets the funerals. Even some kids really hopped up and mimicking the adults we quickly go from "how cute, look at it mimic", to "oh my, he's mimicking now when he doesn't understand, but chances are he'll continue to form his understanding based on what they're teaching him." At that point, the cuteness is sullied.
