This morning in a Denver Post interview, George Karl said "I trust my team."

I can see why.

I watch melo cause Im a cuse bb fan. When they got iverson I thought he could at least contend for a title but that didn't work out so well. But Billups (http://www.nba.com/playerfile/chauncey_billups/index.html) may be the right piece. He has improved denver the way I thought iverson would. And detroit falling off is mostly Billups gone imho.

Detroit getting rid of Billups was pretty retarded.

it tied the '56 minneapolis lakers ass-whuppin of the st louis hawks for the worst ass-whuppin in nba playoff history. 39 pt lead going into the 4th. both teams put in the 2nd teamers at the beginning of the 4th quarter and denver's 2nd teamers continued the ass-whooping. they weren't trying to pour it on either.

This is why the NBA sucks ass. Hockey playoffs >>>>>>> NBA playoffs.

I played Denver plus 2.5. It didn't even bother me that it wasn't on TV. LOL

I still think the Lakers beat them in a series. Too much size for Denver to handle with Bynum, Gasol, and Odom.

Plus, Kobe will probably be guarding Billups quite a bit seeing how Derek Fisher is pretty small. It will probably go 7 but you still have to give the edge to LA with their size up front and home court advantage.

Also, Phil Jackson>George Karl

No they can't. They might win a couple, but in a series, the better team usually wins. The Lakers are better, deeper, and have way too much size on the Nuggets. If that's the matchup I'll take the Lakers in 6.

Amusing that NBATV wasn't blacked out here and I couldn't be much more in the Nuggets market with the Pepsi Center being roughly 5 miles from my house.

I think the Nuggets have a chance but I would hardly bet on it.

The league wants to see a Lebron/Kobe finals for the TV ratings. I wouldn't bet against either team not making the finals.

I don't buy any of the officiating conspiracy theories but the officiating can, at times, get pretty out of hand when the Lakers are at home.

I'm sorry I disagree...K-Mart (6'9'' 240), Nene (6'11'' 250), Birdman (6'10'' 228), Johan Petro (7'0'' 250)

They maybe tall but thats the only thing they have in common with the Lakers big men.

Other than Nene none of those guys are a threat offensively in the post and even his moves are limited. Petro doesn't even see the court. Birdman plays his role coming off the bench but couldn't hold Gasol or Bynum's jock. None of them are primary scoring options for Denver.

I'm not a fan of either team but the Lakers front court is vastly superior to those of the Denver Nuggets.
