Simon Fraser-DL-Falcons Apr. 28 - 12:16 pm et

Falcons waived DE Simon Fraser.

Fraser's versatility, size (6'6/300), and age (26) are pluses, and he can rush the passer. A 3-4 ballclub needs to give him a shot as a defensive end.

I'd definitely take him. We need all of the depth we can get.

Puzzeling, he must have been pretty good for them to name the school (http://www.sfu.ca/) after him. But he only played in 5 games for Atlanta last year. He did a pretty good job his first season with Cleveland.

Was it because he was bad or broken?

How many more ends do we need though? I'd rather see us be active pursuing tackles and linebackers.

The Chiefs need him, he immediately becomes the best player on the roster.

Never heard of this guy. PLayed 5 games with 2 assists for tackles last year. Dunno, doesn't even sound promising.

I couldn't find that, but suspect he could have been injured.

Not all NT's are huge. I believe the Pittsburgh Steelers play a 3-4 with a NT that is under 300lbs.
