Around The Horn is a good show...

This site just loves to hate things.

I think the only sports writer anyone on this site likes is JoPo...everyone is a god awful hack.

Bunch of haters on this site...lonely, depressed, sad people.

Wasn't directed at you...but everyone on this site hates anything that has to do with anything sportswriter...buncha know-it-alls on this site.

Around the horn is ridiculously bad.

Why? Reali is good, Paige is funny, Cowlishaw, Plaske, Smith, Adande are sensible and know their shit (mostly), Mariotti is a tool but Paige puts him in his place...

I think it's a damn good show. Entertains me, at least. Not as good as PTI, but still pretty good...

I like Rome, too (but only the first and last burn, not the middle shit)...

Herm is very articulate and well spoken person. He is liked by the media.

I will forever hate anything that has to do with Herm Edwards.

Now you are being irrational, Hootie.

I hate what he did to our beloved team, but that does not mean that he is not a good public speaker.

I don't think it is the commentary that people despise, it is the gimmick.

There is some show on espn that is like sunday sportswriters or something. I don't like the commentators very well, but they sit around on a studio and actually discuss issues. Much more enjoyable than writers making fun of each other or one upping each other.

I do like PTI, except for the gimmicky crap. Usually they get some good commentary because it is only 2 of them. But I will watch around the horn if it is on, but if I were around it every day, I wouldn't watch it much.

If it has to do with pro football, yes. I can't take anything the douchenozzle says seriously because I know how much of a fucking blockhead he is.

The rest of Herm, I just don't care much about, but if he is going to continue to do the kids football camp thing, that is pretty cool.

Around the horn is ridiculously bad.

I agree. But I think half the reason it sucks (other than ALL of the people on it?) is because by the time it airs, we're bludgeoned to death by the topics for the day.

Well spoken? He gets flustrated if something is swole.

This is why it wasn't painful to watch his coverage. I thought it was hilarious.

As for Around the Horn, it has some good opinions, the format is just weak and I think Tony Reali is a total D-Bag. Max Kellerman was better before he left.

Around the Horn is at its worst when they put that bastard Skip Bayless on it.

Yeah, we were sooooo lucky to have had an internet connection. The NFLN coverage was streamed for free on nfl.com
