View Full Version : Royals Weather for Royals game tonight?

I'm planning on going to see Greinke pitch tonight, but I know there's like a 70% chance of rain in the area. Are people anticipating a PPD? Or is the rain going to be light/spotty/infrequent enough to play out the game? I definitely want to see Greinke pitch in person, but it's a long enough drive that I'd like to know with some confidence that I'll actually see a game.

Any thoughts or special insight?

It's raining where I am on the west side of the metro. Who knows what it will be like for the game?

I'd think they are going to do everything they can to get the game in. Obviously if it rains all night theres nothing they can do, but tomorrow is a getaway day and Toronto doesnt come back to KC.

Going to be a shame if conditions, resulting in an inability to grip the ball properly, cause Greinke to falter a bit.

This fucker keeps it up and takes this club on a pennant chase, and you'll have to wait in line.

I'm actually more encouraged. What is it going to look like 3 hours from now?

Remember, the Royals decide if it will be postponed before the game starts, the umps dont get a say until the game has started. If Kansas City decides they want to force everyone to wait until 9pm, they can.

Alternatively, they could decide to try to play tomorrow, but thats a getaway day on a day thats also expected to be rainy, for a team thats not coming back.

I would hope they would call it and give people back the tickets. The K is already giving a way free tickets for the cluster fuck that was last fridays game for the bob evans. They need to be sucking fans dicks right now. If they wait until nine they will be fucking the people who don't have time to wait until nine o'clock. All my friends just got vouchers for free games because of the shit they went through on friday. Standing in line for 5 innings for food.

why does weather.com have 15 minute intervals? do we really need it that detailed? how much will change in 15 minutes?

"Its 78 right now, but what about in 15 minutes?!"

I'm in Shawnee and it has stopped raining and the skies are getting lighter. From my perspective the game will be played.

well, in missouri it could be anywhere between 20 and 100 in 15 minutes.
