what the age demographic is on the Planet.

I read of logical passing (may he rest in peace), and it got me thinking about who you all are behind the veil. So, I just wondered what all the ages are here. At least then I will know to continue not to get attached to any one individual, if the average age is relatively high, as that would make me feel an emotion for one of you sorry sons-of-bitches when you pass on.

Poll coming....

Hmm, it would seem so far, that 40 and unders either have no jobs and play on the net, or they have relaxed bosses who let them play on computers (or are the bosses).

It's like sports....you don't want to peak before the playoffs have even started.

21. This is a good age.

22 seems old. 22 seems like I should have a desk job. I'm not looking forward to 22. It seems like at that age, your parents are either senile or dead. My younger brother is joining the Air Force, not playing video games and hanging out with friends. There's no conception of youthful innocence at 22. 21 was still young. You're drinking and partying (and even I do neither) being a dumbass. 22 is completely different.

You could say this about any age. Barring any significant life changes, 22 is exactly the same as 21, except the "newness" of legal drinking is worn off.

I see a big change coming. I don't think I can make a joke at 22. I have to be serious and not smile. Always be quiet and speak in gruff tones. "Yeah" "I reckon" "You don't say?" Carry a hankey in my shirt pocket. Wear shirts with pockets. At 22 you can no longer wear shorts. Even when it's 100 degrees out.

I agree with this. At 22 I'll feel the need to grow up. On my 21st bday I renewed my xbox live sub for 1 year and after that, I will be too old to be a gamer and quote Peyton Mannings "your defense is offensive" and "P to the A to the S to the S...Touchdown"

You'll be glad, but your lover will be more glad, that when you are 24, 25...30, you didn't reach your sexual peak at age 18. Trust me, it gets a hell of a lot better.

Something I have learned and wish I had known. Never turn down sex from a girl if you know she is at least pretty clean (wear rubbers), and isnt double your weight. People may make fun of you for sleeping around, or having no standards, but there really are far worse things in life to be made fun of.

Fuck all of that. I am 24, look 20~, and have one hell of a sense of humor. I also possess a hefty IQ, but its all in knowing when to do what. Funerals, no farting. Bars, farting allowed... if you are walking through a crowd. I will be 80 and still act 12, if I cant act like who I really am at heart, then what the fuck is the point of life??

You'll be fine. 22 is a boring age though, but you dont need to change unless you deem it necessary.

I think my comment may have been misconstrued. I just heard recently that research suggests that a male's sexual peak (in terms of sex drive) is at 18. However, I refuted that statement by saying that I believe there is no ceiling for that.

I apologize for saying it in a way that makes me seem like I need a lot of sexual advice or deserve to be treated like an uncultured idi-...wait, there's not a bone in an erection?

Very cool.

Cost of living is through the roof out there...

My wife and I were in SF recently. Had such a great time. Beautiful, beautiful country. Took a day trip up to Point Reyes, with a stop early in the morning at Muir Woods.

Obviously this is north of you, but it's easy to see how a guy could find himself staying.

Personally, I don't really like California, but I married, had a daughter, and got divorced all while in the Navy.

I stayed to be close to my daughter.

In the meantime, I remarried, and have been with this beautiful woman for 21 years, and she has no desire to ever leave California.

As far as the cities go, I'm more of an East coast guy. NYC is one of my favorite places. The energy, pace, overall tenor...it all suits me. But I love nature, and it's the beauty of the land that makes me appreciate California so much.
