I met Jack in 1997 after he'd given the commencement speech at USC. He was extremely nice and loved to talk football. He was a proud American that served his country well.

As someone from the other side of the political spectrum I would have to agree. Jack Kemp was certainly someone to be resprected for his work.

I knew Jack. He was a great economic thinker and loved this country. We are still suffering from Reagan's 1980 mistake in selecting Bush over him for VP.
