I have 2 faucets that both seem to have something wrong with them.

There is a green plastic cap on both that seems to be leaking heavily on one and completely busted on the other.

What am I looking to do to fix this?

Thanks

Those caps have something to do with protecting the faucet from freezing, did you leave hoses hooked up to them all winter?

Edit: it appears that is an anti-siphon valve, and can be replaced.

They froze over the winter, you can replace the valve, it goes instead of freezing into the house and breaking your pipes.

Sweet... many thanks Bug & CMT. Thats what I thought it was but wanted to be doubly sure about it.

while we're on the subject... I have an outdoor faucet that's leaking like a gallon a day...how do you fix those things?
