I agree...He comes from a winner, part of build a winning program and all. Building a great team always starts w/ an excellent FO. But lets say your choice can only be a player, who would it be?

Mark Sanchez. He is so good that not only will he take the Jets to the Super Bowl this year but the energy radiating off of him will add 3 wins to every team in the AFC.

Other than Cassel, my money is on Engram. I think he going to get a lot of opportunities in the slot and will be counted on heavily in replacing Gonzalez.

The old fart LB's, Thomas and Vrabel. Good locker room leadership for the young guys to really learn from. Also, leadership from guys who have been very successful and know how to prepare, be professional and win.

-Herm will make the most difference in the short run. -Carl will make the most difference in the longrun.

Playerwise, duh. It's Cassel.

So this is something like that ropes thing people are always referring to, if there is any thing in a tank?

Obviously, Pioli is the biggest move. His hiring caused all the other dominoes to fall.

Other than Pioli, the clear cut answer is Cassel. Cassel doesn't have to be a 'great' QB, he just needs to be consistent and healthy.

Other than Cassel, it is really hard to pick out just one guy that will make an impact. I guess I would go with Jackson because I think he is better than we gave him credit for. I am a little reluctant to go with a rookie defensive lineman, but I think the front seven is the area the Chiefs will see the most improvement, and I think a large part of that will be credited to Jackson.

Cassel and I like the pick of Jackson. We needed a 3-4 DE badly, and he was the best available.
