The Lions added defensive end Eric Hicks, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound veteran who hasn't started since 2006, the last of his six seasons under new defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham with Kansas City. Hicks, 32, was active for 11 games with the New York Jets in 2007 and didn't play last season.

Lions Fan 2: WHO?
Lions Fan 1: Apparently he had double-digit sacks in 1998.
Lions Fan 2: Well, glad to see we're at least bringing him in for a look. Let's see if he's got anything left in the tank!

I read this. Closed CP. Went out of the house to do something. And this was still in my mind.

When I got home I was still thinking about this shit.

I only have one thing to say

"GUNTHER, WHAT THE **** ARE YOU THINKING???"

When your team is 0-15, he's the guy you want in your locker room.

How sad is it that half way through his season in Detroit, he'll be looking at his days in KC as the good years?

I agree with the overall sentiment that Gun is apparently stupid.

That being said, i would also like to point out that Hicks is a class act (even if he can't be an effective DE anymore).
