...I have retired my previous avatar. Gunther has been (at least temporarily) replaced by Alison Krauss. Hopefully, there won't be any undue confusion- only, you know, the due kind of confusion one would expect in similar scenarios. I reserve the right to make further changes at my discretion and I'm guessing most don't care anyway. Carry on.

Bluegrass performer extraordinaire, won a bunch of awards, done a number of duets with some notables from a number of music genres, even made an album with Robert Plant. Youtube her if you get a moment. Or I'll just set a few in here for you to check out:

Tsk, tsk, Mr. Bugeater. You bad man.

Not too long ago, she made one hell of an album with the ex-lead singer of Led Zeppelin. Plus, I think she sang a song or two for the soundtrack of that movie about the three escaped convicts where one of them got turned into a frog by some girls but he didn't really turn into a frog starring the guy who played the guy who used the hair gel who also played the leader of a group of guys who robbed a casino with the guy who was in that movie about the two guys who started a club where they beat each other up with the guy who played the guy in that movie where he turned into a monster on account of some kind of experiment that went wrong.

If only the Chiefs had replaced Gunther with Allison Krauss, the D may have ranked better than 31st.

I can't prove it, it's just a gut feeling.

Way to upgrade from the early 90's to the early 2000's. In a few years your gonna love the I-Pod.

Great change...Alison Krauss is a beautiful singer. My favorite is still her duet with Brad Paisley on "Whiskey Lullaby"

You lost me twice, Baby Lee.

Carry on, . . . Inaba was making fun of how that Euro-Metro dude pronounces Carrie Ann Inaba on Dancing with the Stars. Probably a little funnier to me because I was listening to Howard at the time and it reminded me of Artie making fun of Howard for being a DwtS geek by imitating the guy.

The Buttercup thing was a reference to the fact that The Foundations had two big hits, 'Baby Now That I've Found You' and 'Build Me Up Buttercup' [which everyone in the cast of TSAM sang over the end credits].

el borracho
05-09-2009, 10:16 AM
Ah, thank you, I would never have gotten those two references. I have seen only bits of Dancing With the Stars and it has been maybe a decade since I saw There's Something About Mary.

That woman has created an Epic Boner across a wide demographic that I find somewhat puzzling, yet am not opposed to.

She's a quality musician who's not too hard on the eyes...

So I vote yes! Was this a vote--it was, wasn't it?

Whatever. Alison rocks....

Anytime.....I liked Alison Krauss before she became mainstream. Met her once backstage at a concert...(I won one of those "See the artist up close, meet them backstage" contests). She was as friendly and down to earth as she seems. And even more pretty in real life.

You're right about that, Mr. mmaddog. I met her at a party a couple of years back, she's a little sweetie. My guess is that she possesses extremely attractive boobahs, too.

Especially if they took that scene from Major League as owner and replaced Allison Krauss had a piece of clothing removed for every win...
