I like tonight's pitching matchup. Palmer's kinda putting it together with smoke and mirrors right now, and Meche is due for a dominant performance. I'm hopeful we can load up tonight and ride Zack tomorrow for a shot at a series sweep.

I'm with you 100%. I don't know what it is but I hate the Angels. Maybe it's that they're a bunch of LA wannabe's. Perhaps it's the fact that they built a World Series run around a monkey. Or maybe it's a rabid case of Orange County arrogance. I just hate 'em and hope the Royals tear them to shreds in all 3 games, but especially tomorrow night when I'm there to watch.

So you expect a #2 pitcher, if he has a good year, of 15 - 18 wins. That would be good. :)

I wish someone could find me a backdoor into MLB TV where I could actually watch the Royals once in awhile. :D

ya, I got a similar dilemma.

In Des Moines I happen to live in an area where I have a choice between 2 competing cable companies. (Dish is not an option, the DSL sucks here) One cable company (mine) has a smaller lineup of channels, but is cheaper and their internet is the fastest and most reliable. They obviously dont have FSNKC. The other cable company's internet sucks (still better than DSL) and they are more expensive, but they do have FSNKC along with a bunch of other channels I'll never watch. I was going to listen on the radio this year, but I'm thinking I may have to spend the money and put up with bad internet for at least one summer.

I'm telling you, the Angels bullpen is bad. Maybe not 1999 Royals bad, but pretty bad. If we're within 5 runs and have more than 1 inning left, this game isnt over.

I hope so....but we have to knock this guy out first. Giving him 6 pitch innings isn't going to aid that cause.

How many pitches was that inning? like 8?

alnorth

not surprisingly, the Royals have a good bullpen (4th in reliever ERA, a sick K/BB ratio), probably the best without Farnsworth.

By contrast, the Angel relievers are near the top in hits, and they are dead last in relief ERA. Its not even close, they are nearly a full earned run worse than the indian bullpen.
