Whatsup studs?

I'm 99% sure we want to go to either the Bahamas or Costa Rica. I have $2500 saved up so far but can spend $3500.

Know of any good honeymoon packages to Bahama's or Costa Rica for about that price?

Want all inclusive for 6 or 7 nights hopefully.

Make sure alcohol included in the price. Read the fine print.

Take her somewhere cheap and tell her the incentive plan for your life together is a trip of increasing value with each 5 years of service.

That way, you're off cheap if she splits in 2 years.

expedia.com has some good packages

3500 can do fine for two people.

$3500? DAMN!
Hell we're going on a weekend Carnival family & friends cruise for $400/person (flight included from MCI).

$3500 better get you in the Paradise Island presidential suite or something.

Spend the $2500 and send me the extra $1000 so that I can get a better honeymoon for my wife.

I think I'm going to ask brideowanian to sign a union card, that way, she'll get the additional benefits with seniority in our relationship.

When's the honeymoon date? That will definitely affect the price. If you go this summer, the Caribbean will be cheaper because it is low season. It is much more expensive in the winter months.

I would seriously consider Playa del Carmen, Mexico. You could definitely get a deal there since the swine flu is winding down.

Also, check air fare rates and hotel rates on www.kayak.com (http://www.kayak.com)

Compare the prices there with Expedia...it may be cheaper. I would call hotels or resorts directly and see if they can beat expedia's prices. Often..they can.

Do a Queen Mary 2 (Cunard) cruise to the Caribbean. You can do it in that budget and get more days, and it's really, really nice.

Choose Aruba....they won't find the body if you need to dump it due to wedding ring induced character flaws.

I've been to both and they're equally great... really loved Costa Rica. I'd say go to the place where you can stay the longest (doing all-inclusive), do the most activities and stay within budget.

I thought it was normal to spend 3-4k on a honeymoon? I have this money saved so not a big deal, I was completely shocked at how much our photographer is costing us though, if you add the photographer + videographer its at $6300 but her dad is paying that shit!

absolutely no way we'll go to Mexico with the drug dealer beheadings, swing flu, and would want something more unique than Mexico.

thanks for the lead on expedia, checking out the deals they have now & probably will give them a call tonight

Take her to the bunny ranch in Nevada and introduce a third party with all that extra money you'll save.:p

Actually I went to Costa Rica last summer on vacation and had a blast. For your honeymoon I would recommend tabacon resort near mount Arenal. It's a resort that has these hot springs that are heated by a volcano.

offered her Branson and stay at Chateau on the Lake and all that jazz but she said we can do that anytime and shell out for the honeymoon as its a one time thing.

I really like Branson last time I went though!

We went to Laguna Beach for 4 nights and stayed in a bed and breakfast that offered free breakfast and dinner drinks. Then we traveled to Denver and stayed in a 4 star hotel for 3 nights. We spent quite a bit. But, we didn't have to hassle with customs or international travel. I would definitely recommend some great places here in the States.

Start her out at Branson so you're not setting her expectations too high.Yep.

And then show her what a romantic you can be by getting her trashed on Boone's Farm and pooping on her chest. It'll be a night she'll never forget, that's for sure.
