I went to my first Royals game in 1977. Fortunately I got to see some of the best Royals teams ever. I miss the rivalry between us and the Yankees in the playoffs. I also unfortunately watched Minnesota turn a triple play against the Royals in a come from behind win. That was the only time I have ever seen a triple play. Some ups and downs but it was nice to go out to the ballpark back then and actually expect us to win.

And why do they adverise at the ballpark. Does anybody who is sitting at a Royals game suddenly say to themselves after seeing a Royals advertisement "Hey! I could go to a Royals game!!"??
