Im not sure, and too tired to look it up, but Im willing to bet that we have won more games with Buck rather than Olivo.

BTW, is it just me or does John Buck look very smiliar to Peyton Manning?

How much are you willing to bet? Buck is 7-7 on the season....Olivo is 11-10.

easily Olivo because he's caught all Zack's games.

While thats true Olivo also had Ponson. Buck caught Hoch's start we'll see who gets him his next start.

I remember FSKC was showing that stat that when Olivo was calling the games, the team ERA was somewhere around 2.23.

Buck barely has enough arm strength to toss the ball back to the pitcher. Olivo needs to play 90% of the time.

Unfair to judge that way unless you only compare games caught using the same pitchers. Greinke gives Olivo a big advantage.

I'm sorry but I will take Buck any day. I have reasons, but mostly my personal opinion.

How about look at the games where Ponson/Farnsworth/Hillman/Royals hitting has cost us games.

Maybe, but Olivo calls a good game, too.

Olivo is also the only one to catch Ponson so that evens it a little. It doesn't take away that he's catching the best pitcher in baseball but helps a little.
