In a word, wow.

Bob Dole received his new $160 toy Friday evening and after browsing the manual, took it out for a test spin last night. Very simple to operate and outstanding quality open air recording. Bob Dole knows there are some other actively gigging musicians in da house, and if you're looking for an affordable way to put together a demo CD, this is the route to go.

Stupid thing wouldn't attach, but here's a sample (http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/5/17/2445471/2%20pianos%20song%201.mp3).

Yeah, I have been selling these for some time in my music store. GREAT device.

My only complaint is that when you connect via USB, you have to then go through the menu of the device to tell it to connect as either a storage device OR a USB Microphone. Why couldnt it connect as both automatically?

I actually used one of these to conduct an employee exit interview. We were firing him because he was embezzling money. Managed to get a confession out of him with it! (yes he was aware he was being recorded). His first court date is coming up soon.

Used it yesterday to record the 4 bands performing at the benefit for Chad and it's not too shabby on the intial listen. Bob Dole is interested to see what kind of results it will produce in a controlled environment.

You should see the new VIDEO one they are coming out with. I saw it at a trade show back in January. Basically an H4n model but with a digital video camera built in as well.
