If football teams were a measure of ones religion...which team would be the Atheists, Catholics, Christians, Baptists, Lutherns, Latter Day Saints, Jehovah Witnesses, etc?

Getting lonely, getting old
Can you feel me?

Hey, you, get into my car
Yes, you
Get into my car
Yeah, who's that lady?
Walkin' down the road?
Who's that lady?
Yeah, who's that woman?
Walkin' down my door?
What's the score?
I'll be the starlight shinin' on you
Hey, Cinderella, step in your shoe
I'll be your nonstop lover
Get it while you can
Your nonstop miracle of your man
Get out of my dream
Get into my car
Get out of my dreams
Get into the backseat, baby
Get in to my car
Get out of my mind
Get into my car
Oh, oh, I said 'hey, you
Get into my car

Speaking for Darth Hoodie and my Patriots, I'll nominate them for "Satanists".

Colts would've been the easy Christian choice if Saint Dungy hadn't left.

The Raiders and Lions would be Buddhists, since they clearly have a non-agression policy and wouldn't hurt a fly.

[Sucking Up Mode]

Not sure on the Broncos and Chargers... is there an A@@holian religion? :)

Hey you
I gotta tell you my long time friend
I think of all those years you saw me through tears
and the good times that we spend
Hey you
You're my constant companion
You always let me explain just what I'm saying
and we've just begun
Ooooh

Hey
you ! You say you
wanna change the
world.
It's alright with me
there's no regret.
It's my turn
the circle game has
brought me here
And I won't let
down 'til ev'ry
sun has set.

You realize now
you should've tried now
(ooh)
The music's gone now
you lost it somehow.
Hey
you ! Sha-la-la-la

Hey you, out there on your own
Sitting naked by the phone

Would you touch me?
Hey you, with you ear against the wall
Waiting for someone to call out
Would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, Im coming home

Fuck that. The Raiders are Satanists, and the Broncos are the 3rd wife in a cult.

Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft are fundamentalist Mormons, using their former assistant coaches and front office people to inhabit the world of professional football and spread the good word.

Especially since most of those assistant coaches have gone on to suck like a Hoover... Hopefully that continues with Josh.

Hey you, out there in the cold
Getting lonely, getting old
Can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisles
With itchy feet and fading smiles
Can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light
Dont give in without a fight.

Hey you, out there on your own
Sitting naked by the phone
Would you touch me?
Hey you, with you ear against the wall

Wasn't that a Harry Nilsson with John Lennon egging him on song?

It was Nilsson, but I think it was with Ringo.

That must have been the time period though when Lennon was out in LA with them. That has him written all over it.

Now that I actually look it up, there ARE no Beatles on the song. But, Nicky Hopkins, Peter Frampton, Bobby Keys, & Klaus Voorman WERE on it. Not bad.

Posted via Mobile DeviceWell, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son_of_Schmilsson he's not. But you're right, there's CERTAINLY a very strong Beatle influence there.

We're both wrong. According to http://www.themadmusicarchive.com/song_details.aspx?SongID=11737 George played slide guitar on the song under a pseudonym.

Excellant. He did some great guitar work on a lot of songs from that time period. "No Matter What" by Badfinger is one of my favorites

Yep. George really was highly underrated, compared to Clapton, Beck, Page et al.
