heh. I just realized who the alien chick is in the clips. Its the girl from Firefly.


She was also in an episode of Medium a few weeks back. and yes shes still very hot.

This

The original mini-series was great. It was basically a play on the Nazi takeover of Germany.

When it became a series it got progressively worse.



I suspect this one will be a play on the US invasion of Afghanistan/Iraq or have certain terroism overtones.

Just a guess.

Probably end up being another show that I get into and then gets canceled. I will, of course, still have to check out this one. I loved the original 80s version.

Nice. I loved the two miniseries from the 80's. Apparently, Kenneth Johnson's original proposal was called "Storm Warnings". It was an update of the old Upton Sinclair novel "It Can't Happen Here". The network wasn't comfortable showing a fascist takeover of the US, and thus it became "Nazi Cannibal Lizards from Outer Space". :p

From what I read, this reboot will be ignoring the second miniseries "V: The Final Battle".
