They are probably getting prepared for an old fashion family barbecue with family and friends besides visiting loved ones in their respective resting places thus they need rest.

Dealer now. Was a Slot Supervisor but they eliminated that position.

Easiest job in the world, but repetitive as hell.

That's kind of sweet. Do you ever deal really dramatic hands that you can tell are the climax of the movie about the gambler's life? Like everything is riding on that hand? That would be sweet. Especially if you got to be a smug prick as you gathered his meager life savings off the table. Bwahahaha.

There's nothing better than taking $1,500 in one hand from some asshole who's been playing for 3 hours and hasn't tipped at all.

Oh, you've got a 20! Good job!

Well, dealer blackjack. You lose. Sorry.

HAHAHA. The hasn't tipped part gains my sympathy as a server so I can only imagine the joy in forcefully taking cash from a dickwad that won't spread any around.

I might as well ask. I don't gamble a ton, but what is proper tipping etiquette for a dealer? Sounds like a good thing to know.

There really isn't one. Anything is fine. If you get a blackjack on an amount that leaves you $2.50 extra (really anything ending in $5) and you bet that for us, I'm perfectly fine with that.

On the rare occasion that I go, I usually get some $1 chips and bet them for the dealer after I win a hand. Just a little something.

Now if you win a monster hand, more is definitely appreciated. At some point it's pretty insulting if we get nothing. For example, a Royals player who I won't name but has a huge contract was in a couple of days ago and turned $200 into $2,000 and didn't tip at all. That's not cool.

Thanks, I am always oversensitive about tipping correctly since I work in the service industry. It's cool since I can go through life knowing I'm not a complete douche, but it sucks cause I can't just go to a restaurant or bar (or maybe now casino;)) and totally relax.
