Had two beers, and a bunch of traditional honey BBQ wings.

I've got problems. Stomach was making whiny noises (not just gurglings) and I was feeling pretty bloated. I just got back from a 30-minute visit to the bathroom. Man, that's some of the worst I've had in awhile. Butt pee all around, with just these nasty ass chunks flying out like rockets at 2 or 3 different points during my ass-to-toilet time. I think it took 3 flushes, with toilet paper in each flush just to make myself not feel like an animal. Wife is pretty pissed at me for eating all that junk even though she didn't exactly eat apples and carrots for her meal.

That is all.

Almost. If he's just doing it to be a jackass, you don't really feel sorry for him. That takes all kinds of stupid to waste your time to piss people off for 2 minutes only to get banned.

If he's doing it because he has an actual point to prove, that's a different kind of stupid. That's the kind of stupid you shake your head at and say, "it's a real shame."

good luck with the blazing wings

My buddy and I went to bbww for a beer a couple of years ago. Me not being a spicy eater told the waiter I wanted some chicken parmesan or something like that. He brought some wings over for me to "try" in case I might change my mind. They were the blazing wings. I took one bite of the mud encased napalm wings and nothing would take the pain away. If only I'd had seen "what happens in vegas" then. I'd punched him in the dick and screamed you know why.

That being said.... My wings were free after that and I'm pretty sure he's going to hell.

Go to Zen Zero and ask for thier food to be prepared "Thai hot" and that might do the trick. Or go across the street and have a bunch of habenero spiced food at La Parilla. If you want hot curry, go to the Thai place on the corner of 6th and Kassold (make sure to ask for your food to be prepared "Thai Hot.)

I've done that, actually found out I could order it Thai Hot, Double Thai Hot and Tripple Thai Hot. I got tripple thai hot a couple of weeks ago, it was pretty hot. But not as hot as I was looking for.

Went to the one on 135th with a couple of friends last week and had six of the Asian Zing, six of the Cajun whatever. Felt excellent after that, definitely a fine moment in eating. After that, though, made a big mistake by going to Sheridan's. I was up until three trying to throw it all up.

BWW here in CoMo has prevented me from ever going there again.

Last time when the dining area wasn't even 1/4 full, it took me about 30 to even get silverware and a fuckin water, meanwhile the girl waitress is out on the patio talking on her cell phone to her loser b/f and smoking a cigarette looking cool.

Let me give you a back story on this BWW in CoMo

A lot of my friends used to work at this BWW, I used to go up there and eat/drink for a very very small amt of money. Drink specials on many days of the week, happy hour specials etc. The place was packed, it was a fun bar to go out and have fun, karaoke, trivia was there. Great atmosphere.

Well, the owner apparantly couldn't pay the bills and corporate bought out their lease, immediately came in there and fired everyone to the last cook/waiter. Many of my friends lost their jobs. Thats not why I hate the place though. Shit's just gone down hill at that place since Corporate took over.

1st - they shut down the place for 4 months while they do some repairs and upgrades to the store. OK fine.

They open back up and just about everything on the menu was raised by at least a dollar. Their food was already IMO way overpriced. Now its to the extreme. It's about $4 for a Bud light draft.

Service there is just fuckin terrible. 20x worse than before it initially closed. Half the staff smokes out on the patio half the time and they come back in smelling like ashtrays as they bring out the food which is cold by then because they waited about 45 min to get it from the kitchen.

The quality of their food sucks outside of their popcorn shrimp. I just refuse to fuckin go there anymore.

Have to agree with Crash. Was in Dallas and tried some Hooters wings and the scenery for the first time. Scenery was nice but the wings sucked.

BWW I have an issue with because they have about 50 choices for sauces and the "heat" chart doesnt seem to jive with what you get. I go to a place called Wing Stop and their original hot is good enough for me. I dont need nuclear death hot. Anyway I figure BWW would be about the same on "normal" hot since they had about 10 choices that were hotter. I thought I was safe. I was at a point of having to stop and wait for the burn to subside for a bit before going at it again.

Now I thought another issue was I tried the Boneless at BWW. Maybe the hot soaks through and you get more hot for your money. Dont know but those are my wing experiences.

Exactly. You don't go to BWW for the food. The food is something to occupy yourself while you are enjoying football heaven with all the games on.
Now I'm talking sundays during the NFL season. Why anyone would go there to EAT in May is beyond me unless they are looking for a collapsed sphincter.

I finally got around today to eating at Buffalo Wild Wings to try out the blazin wings, which are supposed to be super duper hot and their hottest sauce. LAME. After about 10 of them I got some heat, but that wasn't that hot. That chili sauce from india with the rooster on it is hotter than those blazin wings. I was very disappointed. I was expecting serious pain.

Quality control is an issue with chain restaurants and I'm not sure why.

Buffalo wings are pretty simple.

Chicken wings with or without the tip.
Fried in oil or baked
Drenched in a concoction of butter, hot sauce (Frank's), paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne.

You can't go wrong.

It's been all over the map for me.... the Wild was okay the first time I had it, but it's generally pretty hot. I've had Blazin a couple of times, and once it was a pretty big step up from Wild (but still had good flavor), and another time it wasn't all that hot. If not for wondering if I'm getting what I ordered (and last time I was there, they gave me Mild instead of Wild :doh!: ), the service is enough to keep my visits few and far between...

No they have actual boneless wings now... sweet and sour flavored maybe?... can't really remember off hand. We got her some of those last week and they were actually better than the BDubs stuff, we both thought. They aren't going to set the wing world on fire but they actually had pretty good flavor and no over-abundance of breading/lack of actual chicken like BDubs has seemed to have lately when we go.

It's not that big business is bad. The problem is that the money you spend gets shipped out of the area. It doesn't get recycled throughout the local community they way it does when you spend money at a locally owned business.

This is a problem in a lot of urban areas. They make little money to begin with, and what they spend is immediately removed from circulation within the community. It's good that the big businesses provide employment opportunities, but the community doesn't get the benefit of having the money circulate back through the local economy.

Then you got some weak blazin's.

Sriracha sauce (the chili sauce from india) is ketchup compared to blazin' wings. I handle spicy food pretty well but 6 of those is enough for me.

BWW sucks pretty bad unless you go in when it's busy. Then you'll at least get fresh wings (though your service will still suck). If it's not busy, you get gummy pieces of crap with warmed over sauce.

Ultimately however, if you're in Columbia, MO and you go to BWW, you're just kindof an idiot. CJ's Wings downtown makes the best wings I've ever had. And for St. Louis folks, go with Culpeppers.

ya I've been trying to do that actually. The quality you get when you find a good local owned business is far superior to any chain. Fell in love with this fairly new BBQ joint, called Beimers BBQ. It has a drive through and it's kind of like N Carolina style, everything I've gotten there is great! Their spicy vinegar base sauce is one of the best I've had! I have definately been doing my best to try and stay away from chains for the most part.

It's good that the big businesses provide employment opportunities, but the community doesn't get the benefit of having the money circulate back through the local economy.I've been saying this for years. Chains rest. don't add alot of value to community.... a store mgr might be brought in, or if several are in metro area. regional mgr. those salaries don't add alot to your economy. The money that leaves Immediately doesn't help your local economy. Ask an economist about it.
