Greinke's ERA went up 0.02, which means this was a below-average game for him. He's lucky to get the win, clearly he struggled out there.

Zack has started the season with 10 games with 2 ERs or less and at least 5 SOs per game. No major league pitcher has ever done that before.

Big win, nice for the offense to wake up. Especially to get the scoring started from the bottom of the lineup. Now let's take the finale tomorrow!!!

Carrying an ERA under 1 up until June. Unreal.

Has that ever been done before??

You know, they only won because KC just had another good luck charm born. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/party/party0049.gif (http://www.mysmiley.net/freesmiley.php?smiley=party/party0049.gif)

I have a feeling the chance of rain scared a few away. Almost stopped us from going up. Glad we went. Great game and pretty cool to see the renovations.

From the tv it looked like there were a lot more people there. I'm really proud of the fans that have been going though. They have been fantastic all year.

The Royals have already had 7 crowds of 30k+ this year. Last year they had 8 all season.

Probably need to get 3 of the next 4 to stay in this thing.

Next week on the road @ Tampa and Toronto could be brutal.

16,300 last nite to see the best pitcher in baseball throw another CG?

It looked better than that on TV. Just surprised they didn't have a 20K+ out at the K - chance of rain or not. IT'S FUCKING ZACH GREINKE FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!!!!!!

God, I wish I lived in KC.

I think because of the outfield seats now and such it tends to make the stadium look more full. I knew the second we pulled up to the parking lot toll booth it was going to be a weak crowd. Where I go into the stadium parking it is as very little used gate typically. I can tell if there are any cars there or not if it will be a good crowd. I was the only one there so..... think the weather had a lot to do with it.

Not me. The best luck comes from me posting only once - prior to the game starting - on a game thread started by someone else.
