The points would not stop coming until I hit my stud WR on a deep middle post and he took it to the house with 30 seconds left. Cover 2 was San Diego's folly! Sindle-ating!

Fun game.

what's up with your running game and not being able to stop the run? fuck, I know that madden is arcade football at times, but jesus. you'd be TOAST with some of the guys I play against if you can't run or stop the run.

The year is 2024. And I use accelerated clock.

I have both a very dominant ground game and a great run defense. Just one of those days.

15 YPC for the Chargers? Jesus man......our defense is still shitty in the year 2024.

It was really just three long runs. One I got caught with my pants down. It was third and long so I get in dime and spread my D-line out.....Chargers hand it off, RB breaks one tackle and everyone else gets punked by a blocker.

It was just one of those days. I have a GREAT defense. You should see my corners. They are all freaks of athletic prowess.

Nothing I did seemed to work.

And the Medlock thing is funny.

Sweet. My franchise RB just went all Adrian Peterson on the Seahawks. Best rushing game EVA! I just kept handing it off in the 4th quarter through gaping holes. He had like 5 runs over 20 yards...and one epic 69-yarder with perfect blocking. Don't get those often. Set a franchise record for TDs in one game.

How many years down the road is your franchise, gc?

On Madden 2005 I won a game one time 155 to 0 with the Mexico City Flying Squirrels. They were the Chiefs at one time. There was a glitch in the AI I think, because even on All-Madden if you got a receiver fast enough an agile enough and a QB with a strong arm you can go throw a 90 yard TD pass any time they play man coverage.

Heh. '05 was the last Madden I truly got into. Green was deadly accurate, Gonzo was a beast, and Priest was unstoppable (as was LJ).

Yeah me too. We were too cheap to get cable in college at our apartment. We just played madden. We honestly would watch the demo games when it was computer vs computer and did shots when ever "our" team scored. We were such losers ROFL

He's actually pretty good on Madden. Strong leg. Though every kicker on Madden can kick it into the endzone.

I would love to see it. I play on All-Madden with the sliders on default. Usually I will get a pretty good game. On PS2 I used to play on All-Madden with the sliders nearly all the way up for the CPU. Those were fun games, luckily the new Maddens are a bit more challenging.

I would love to see itI should record one of my games someday. I'm on PC, but they're always challenging. I have a custom playbook and a "system" I run now that I've been developing for a few years. You guys probably would think it's cheesy, but I do have a talented team, and I play straight up. I rarely go deep.

The RB I did that with is a total badass. And, he's white, which I love.

One thing I've found to make it more challenging is lower the injury slider, big time. I get very realistic injuries in my franchises now. I wish there was a way to fix the salary cap. It's completely broken. I'm like the Yankees.

I'm also looking forward to developing this WR prospect:

I should record one of my games someday.

6-1 241
SPD 93
STR 70
AWR 97
AGI 90
ACC 86
CTH 63
CAR 92
BTK 99
STA 85
INJ 99

One thing I've found to make it more challenging is lower the injury slider, big time. I get very realistic injuries in my franchises now. I wish there was a way to fix the salary cap. It's completely broken. I'm like the Yankees.

I'm also looking forward to developing this WR prospect:

6-7
241
SPD 90
STR 59
AWR 52
AGI 89
ACC 86
CTH 82
JMP 94
BTK 50
RBK 41
INJ 73 (this is bad news)

If you recorded one of your games someday I would seriously sit and watch the entire thing. But you cant record a game that you totally crushed the other team in. Just do a random game.

I'm gonna do a playoff game. The Patriots are really good in my franchise...we always have some good games.

I have a really entertaining team. A badass WR, a great QB, a beast of a defensive end and a secondary that's practically genetically engineered perfection.

I have a sweet-ass fullback, too. He's a converted tight end. Which means he can catch.

And I play to win, bitch! Although I run a lot of spread-type plays...Thigpen would flourish.

Just for you guys I'm going DEEP on the first play.

OK, I wish I had not been using the free version of FRAPS when I played the AFC Championship. It was an EPIC battle. I won 30-27 after one full overtime period. I needed an interception with about 1:45 left in regulation, followed by a 35-yard touchdown run just to tie it at 24. Then the Pats got a field goal and I had about 30 seconds. The squib kick went RIGHT to my tight end who returned it to the 50...good stroke of luck. My backup quarterback was in for a few plays because of an injury, but hit two passes, including a HUGE flare out to my RB with about 10 seconds left to get in FG range. I had NO TIMEOUTS on this drive so I had to be careful. I kicked the tying FG, went to OT, and we just exchanged punts for 4 minutes before I finally put a drive together. NERVE RACKING! Sadly free fraps only records for 30 seconds, and I didn't realize it. Ah well. However, the Super Bowl was a good, competitive game, mostly because I couldn't stop chucking interceptions, which is rare for me. <object width="560" height="340">

No. Don't think I will....from what I hear Madden sucks balls this year. I reserve the right to change my mind, though.

Really? I'm enjoying the demo actually. Of course it's hard to get a feel with 1 minute quarters. Won one game 28-3....Eli had 3 INT's 2 taken to the house. And my running game was amazing with Barber and Felix combo.
